My little traveller

Traversing to a state 10 hours a way is a lot of work, and an especially large hurdle for a couple 2 weeks into marriage. We both know that moving to Birmingham is going to make us stronger, but we didn't know we would be tested right out the gates! Erik pulled a U-haul trailer, while Kirbs and I followed. We decided to stop in New Orleans for the first night (too convenient that the city is halfway to B'ham). Kirby had to be snuck into our very nice hotel Erik found on Priceline. Kirby had to be stuffed into my bag! He was not happy with me, but he also didn't rat us out. Kirbs was smuggled into the Rennaissance Hotel near the French Quarter without a sound or movement! Overall, the drive from Houston to Birmingham was successful and not too bad!
