Beautiful Texas morning at the Fite's house!
The ultra-lavish Graceland! Erik liked the jungle room.
And doesn't mind posing for me:)
Famous Beale Street where Elvis wandered as a teen.
Decide to check out Graceland on Monday and then Civil Rights Institute on Tuesday of our trip. Sounds simple; worked out best for us... But no matter how much you plan.. how much you micro-manage.. You've gotta be flexible and laugh..."Erik, why are people not going into the museum"- Becca
"Because they are closed on Tuesday" - E
"Ha-ha, no really"-Becca
"No, Seriously. They are not open on Tuesdays"-E
REALLY???
This was seriously one of the highlights of my spring break! The Lorraine Hotel was a multimillion dollar renovation into the National Civil Rights Museum. OH, YAH, and its not open on Tuesdays. BIG BUMMER!
Nashville: Our first day. Nashtrash tour by the Jugg Sisters. Part comedy part "educational". We had a blast as we were introduced to the city.. OH, and did I mention that the "hostesses" loved Erik as well...
Afterwards we visited the Country Music Hall of Fame and then celebrated the great holiday of St. Patrick's Day.
We had so much planned the following day... See a historic plantation and Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. BUT.. we were tired and ready for "home". So we packed up and ate lunch at the famous Loveless Cafe where we stuffed our selves sick.
Kirby was a great traveller. What a wonderful way to spend our vacation!!!
